There is no need to have two different ballasts, simply use this lamp during vegetative growth, and change to the IntroGro HPS lamp for flowering - all using the same HPS ballast.

This allows the grower to give the plants the perfect Grow spectrum and Bloom spectrum for optimum plant growth, more compact plant structure and amazing high yields, while only needing one ballast.

The Lumatek 400V lamp has been engineered for use with Lumatek 600W 400V electronic ballast and is produced using high-grade ceramic arc tube technology and specific horticultural gas blend that creates optimal spectral output for healthy plant growth.

400 Volt HPS lamps are more efficient than standard HPS lamps and this allows them to have an increase in light intensity and PAR output.
