Bio Bugs are cultured on wheat germ under laboratory conditions and freeze dried. Bio Bugs contain over 20 beneficial bacteria and fungi as found in Australian farm and rainforest soils. First Response Last Resort

Irrespective of your plant's problem, your first response should be to spray it with Citrofresh. Your problem may be as simple as an insect attack on the root system, or heavy attack from pathogen bacteria. Identifying the specific type of insect or pathogen and selecting the appropriate remedy is now unnecessary. Pathogens, as well as bugs and insects, do not have to be individually identified! If you need a microscope to see it, Citrofresh will destroy it.

Because Citrofresh eliminates your pathogen load on contact, nutrients coming up from the roots will feed pathogen free leaves. This will give your plants an immediate boost without placing any stress on the plant's metabolism.

If your plants are overly infected with insects and you don't feel they will survive treatment by a pesticide/insecticide. You should apply Citrofresh first and then allow your plants the time they need to recover before spraying with an insecticide.

Even when you think the plant has gone past the point of recovery, try Citrofresh as a last resort. Because it produces no negative reaction with plants and does not put any pressures on the plant root system, Citrofresh goes far beyond the limits of previously used chemical alternatives!

How does it work? Neemtech works by the action of clogging the breathing pores of soft bodied insects, killing them by asphyxiation. For that reason, predators of these insect pests will not be affected by the spray. Because of the way this product works, the insect cannot become immune to the spray as they do with other pesticides.

Application

Mix 15 to 30ml in 1 litre of water. Spray when insects are evident. Ensure that the target pest is covered with spray mist.

Oxy Plus is a sanitizer and oxygenator. It can be used to improve seed germination, the strike rate of cuttings, and to disinfect your system of bacteria and fungi.

Active Ingredient :  Hydrogen Peroxide (50%).

An effective and efficient method of insect control in commercial, industrial and domestic areas.

Simple to use - with the use of a wick the generator is lit. The smoke omitted contains permethrin (a synthetic form of pyrethrin) and reaches places aerosols, dusts and sprays can’t.

One Protector insecticide smoke generator covers a 250 cubic meter area. Place each smoke generator on a fireproof base as a precaution (ie concrete or a brick) positioning centrally in the area to be treated. Ignite, leave immediately closing all doors and windows. After 3 hours the area will be insect free. A further treatment may be required after 2-3 days in heavily infested areas.

Effective on cockroaches, ants, flies, fleas, silverfish, spiders, caterpillars, aphids and weevils. Registered for use in glasshouses & agricultural buildings.

Pythoff is a broad spectrum disinfecting agent that will sterilise your entire hydroponic system to ensure maximum plant performance all year round.

• Pythoff is based on monochloramine - a proven and trusted drinking water disinfectant used world wide. Monochloramine's popularity is based on the fact that it is a non toxic and long lived disinfectant. Being a long lived disinfectant is beneficial for hydroponics because this enables complete system disinfection - from the nutrient tank all the way through to the plant's roots. This property is not possessed by other disinfectants such as ozone and UV, simply because these agents do not form a stable residual disinfecting chemical in your nutrient solution.
• Pythoff is non systemic and therefore it can be used throughout the fruiting period.
• Pythoff will not destroy trace element chelates - unlike UV and OZONE.
• Pythoff has an indefinite shelf life. This allows predictable and consistent dose rates unlike products such as liquid chlorine.
• Pythoff has multiple uses - sterilising active systems, sterilising system hardware between crops and pre sterilising system 'make-up' water.

Hydroponic systems vary with respect to the bacteriological quality of the raw water used, general attention to hygiene, etc.

Further, as the recycling nutrient solution ages there will be an accumulation of root deposits, algae, slimes, etc.

Under these conditions a higher than normal Pythoff dose is required to achieve effective disinfection and therefore the recommended dose, which is based on a reasonably sterile system, is often too low. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you occasionally use the 'Pythoff Test Kit' to check whether the standard recommended dose rate is correct or otherwise for your system.

NOTE: this kit does not detect the presence of Pythium etc.

These long lasting and weatherproof sticky traps allow easy monitoring of flying insects. The special shade of yellow attracts a broad spectrum of flying insects including whiteflies. aphids, moths, leafhoppers and leafminers. To use, peel open and reverse-fold the traps to expose the sticky, bright yellow side. Hang the straps on plants using the twist-ties supplied. Trap area = 240 cm2
