After extensive trials in various rockwool, NFT, flood and drain, aeroponic and water culture systems, we have found that for best overall product performance a Biomix and Bio Earth Sea Acids solution should be allowed to be stripped by the plants from a maximum of 800ppm to a minimum of 200ppm. Once at the minimum dilution, the solution strength should be again topped up to maximum. This allows the plants to accurately monitor nutient availablity, properly metabolise carbohydrates and precludes any possibility of salts build up. This procedure can be repeated up to six times before any flushing may become necessary. This method also ensures vigourous nutrient uptake at the root zone.
Recirculating Hydroponics Systems
With recirculaing hydroponics systems, we cannot over emphasis the importance of maintaining a constant water level in the nutrient reservoir. The insatllation of a conventional float valve is one easy solution. For proper solution management, the original solution concentration should be allowed to diminsh to at least half value before being strengthened again. This allows your crop to maintain excellent nutrient uptke. Correct pH after nutrient has been added and not before. Ph should be corrected to 6.8 before use. The best pH range for a bioponic solution is 6.7 - 7.2.

It's a good idea not to mix solutions very strong. If aggressive feeding is required dose more frequently but don't increase the strength of your solution beyond that recommended. Every six to eight irrigations with nutrient solution should be followed by at least one irrigation with plain water.
