Can-Fan

Can-Fan

We are proud to offer this premium range of centrifulgal fan to the Australian market. The Can-Fan range is manufactured using quality German 'Ruck' motors. The fans feature solid metal powder coat housing and a reverse curve blade design offering low noise and high ouput. Centrifugal fans should be used in any application that requires air to be pulled or pushed through lengths of ducting greater than five metres, multiple air cooled lights, or with carbon filters. Centrifugal force spirals air for maximum flow rates in high pressure situations.

The flow rates stated above have been supplied by Ruck Ventilatoren Germany under professional testing conditions and are 'TRUE' values as set for other regulated industries such as commercial ventilation. These rates may appear lower than other fans in the Australian market which use different testing conditions, or simply test their flow rates with anemometers directly behind the fan outlet without any relevant pressure adjustments or connected wind tunnels.

When comparing the Can-Fan range against many other centrifugal fans in the Australian hydroponic industry you can add up to 100% (double the Can-Fan flow rates) to get an equivalent air flow comparison, due to varying testing methods. Most people will already be familiar with the high flow rates of the Can-Fans and appropriate fan/filter combinations. If in doubt ask your Retailer to put a Can-Fan next to another centrifigal fan of the same qouted flow rate, and you will be amazed at the difference.

Max Can-Fan

!
Max-Fan

The Max Can-Fan range offers exceptional output with a specialised mixed flow design making them the quietest fan with high flow rates available. With normal centrifugal fans, most of the noise seems to travel with the air flow of the fan. The innovative design of the Max Can-Fan helps reverse a large percentage of this noise which is then muffled by the carbon filter. When connected to a Can-Filter (125 / 150) and even a small silencer, these fans run super quiet and move a massive 480 Litres per second while only using 180 watts of power.

Spectrum Centrifugal Fans

Spectrum Centrifugal Fan

The Spectrum range of centrifugal fans consist of both metal and plastic housing models. The metal range has a low noise blade design and is one of the quietest fans on the market in relation to output. While the Turbo (plastic housing) range is a light weight option.

Fan Silencer
by Can-Filter (Netherlands)

These are a must for anyone who uses larger centrifugal fans that want to signifantly reduce noise caused by airflow. The silencers use high quality acoustic insulation for maximum noise elimination. Both the 500mm and 1000mm models can be fitted to any diameter fan by connecting the appropriate sized flanges.

Fan Thermostat

Fan Thermostat

We carry two types of thermostats.

Fan Thermostat - which turns on when the temperature goes above the set level.

Heat Thermostat - which turns on when the temperature drops below the set level.

The controller can be set to any temperature between 20 and 50 degrees C.

Maximum Load 7.5 AMP

Computer Fan - 120mm

We are now stocking a 120mm axial fan that utilises a sleeve bearing, rather than a ball bearing. This will allow it to operate marginally quieter than our ball bearing 120mm axial fan. The S1 axial comes with an in-line on/off switch for your convenience and safety.

Primair Twin Fan Controller

!
Primair Controller

The new Primair twin speed controller with thermostat and probe is the ultimate in simple climate control. It consists of two separate intake and exhaust speed dials that are thermostatically controlled. Simply set fans at the appropriate idle speeds to control room temp and set the thermostat at what you want your max temp to be (ie. 28 degrees). If the room hits your max temp setting the fans automatically switch to full output until the environment drops back under your max temp setting and your fans will then again  automatically return to idle speed as set on the speed dials. Temp range 14-36 degrees.

Sunvic Heating & Cooling Thermostat

!
Thermostat
HYT108
This bi-metallic thermostat control has two functions, it will initiate either a heating or a cooling device to maintain a set temperature.

On the side of the box are two power sockets. A heating device can be connected to the socket marked H, and a cooling device can be connected to the socket marked C. After connecting the control to mains power and setting the required temperature the appliances will switch on and off automatically. If it becomes too cool the heater will switch on, or if it becomes too hot the cooling device will switch on. There is a temperature area (known as a dead zone) where neither heating nor cooling devices will be turned on. This is to stop the thermostat from switching immediately between heating and cooling. Eg. if you set the thermostat to 20 degrees, the heating will turn on at around 18 degrees and turn off at 20 degrees. And the cooling will turn on at around 22 degrees and off at 20 degrees. The thermostat can be set in 1 degree increments by turning the dial.

Maximum Load (on cooling & heating) 10amp
